HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May this year offer you a new start, get ready for God to do a brand new work in you. Let any charge that the enemy has against you be dismissed in Jesus name. Because of your heart of repentance, though you were guilty, you are now delivered and that record of wrong is sealed. That evil charge shall not be brought up against you again. That horrible thing you did or said last year is not a part of this new season. The test that you failed, you will now pass. The grudge you held in your heart, will leave you in Jesus name! That trauma that kept you bound shall brake its shackles over your life, fear and doubt can no longer attach itself to you. Decree and declare that you are accounted for, you have an advocate, and a representative because you have retained God as your attorney. Let his grace and mercy speak on your behalf. Attorneys are certified by a rigorous academic system of cumulative knowledge based on precedent, current and future analysis of laws and the way they affect and are affected by the ones they govern. How much more is our God qualified? who is not limited by time, who is omnipresent and omniscient, who is the same God yesterday, today and tomorrow, who created the laws that govern the entire universe. God didn’t study the laws, he made them, and if you follow the stipulations of his retainer you cannot lose the battle.

The best part about this is your attorney is also your father. His love stretches over to comfort you when doing the right thing isn’t easy. He understands your heart and provides a peace that guards it from its deceptive nature. His rod of correction is administered in love. He has no pleasure in your pain. His forgiveness extends beyond three strikes. Let us not take this love for granted, but let it motivate us to position our hearts in good posture and worship God in spirit and truth. Let this year be the year we submit to God, let’s obey him like our father, follow his instructions like our teacher, trust him as our lawyer and reverence him as our God and king! To God be the Glory, we are spoken for.

This message stems from the book of Job. The strategy of the enemy is to rome to and fro and bring sinful charges against God's people. Though Job was a good and faithful servant, the devil was permitted to afflict him. When he lost all his blessings he professed that the loss was something he feared deeply. This must not have been the first time he confessed this, because satan knew of this fear, and that was his way in. The bible tells us that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, so if the spirit of fear is in you, you have an ungodly spirit in your temple. There are many other laws and precepts that govern spirituality. Continue to seek God for them and do not perish for a lack of knowledge. Seek God and his kingdom and this knowledge will be added to you. While in this learning process, be sure that you retain God to contend for you in the spirit. Stay in the presence of God that you may hear his voice, calling you to repentance, calling you to pray, calling you to be charitable, that when the enemy uses your sins against you God will have already given you a spiritual defense and counterclaim.
